‘Room on Fire’ is the title of alternative rock group The Strokes’ second studio album released in 2003 by RCA Records featuring some quite memorable moments in the genre. This project was a redesign task, aiming to recreate the famous album’s cover without deriving any major elements or imagery from the original, while keeping the album’s essence intact in its reimagining. Along with the cover design itself, assets such as a record sleeve and merchandise mockups were developed, and even a printed version of the cover was printed to size.
